We are almost shifted from calicut to pathanamthitta. Almost 25 years spent at calicut (not exactly, since last decade i was roaming around, yet the home was the final destination). The dreams were born and nourished.

I should say it was a wonderful and colourful stay. Seemless friendships. Helping hands all around.

Transition was planned almost three years before. Shifted our belongings almost 3 months back. Now agreement to handover the house is also signed.

Initially I have been going to Sabu college, at the age of 3 (dont wonder, it is one of the ladies only college where I joined at the age of 3)...it was the KG. Then to St Xaviers UPS PVL....for 7 yrs..Next to Savio HSS for 3 years at Devagiri....Devagiri has to suffer for 2 more years since I joined St. Josephs college after 10th....I was in the second last batch of Pre-degree at St Josephs. Then I had to move to the state capital as crec didnt satisfy my dreams.

Pinnitta vazhikal: the way to my school ....Bus trip to calicut ...Trips to Mavoor....(lots of dreams during these trips , many became reality later in life),walks through SM street, Manachira and beach,Trips to elite, CREC(i have been here when i was in school, college and after college and finally at the time of leaving also), Karanthur (Many a times I had to go here since injuries were always present during my stay at calicut),One day trips to Kadampuzha, visits to Pathanamthitta (3 times n a yr), and finally for last few years trips to bangalore from chintavalappu...

Now the world has become so small. Eventhough petrol charges are high, nothing is far away.

Aneesh Dhananjayanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07205345381745579109noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16130751.post-55192310110648129732008-05-29T22:39:00.001+05:302008-05-29T22:41:23.067+05:30Viterbious

We always had a tough time in learning the Viterbi algorithms and convolution codes in ITC. I started early morning 7.15pm from home as i had some additional tasks in chamber in office.... Breakfast from office ...coffee ...idly and vada.....people came in time this time i see many new faces many of them formed their own gangs. unlike old offsite of people going together with the complete fun of full team spirit was not there....but still fun s always there....most important thing is whether you are enjoing or not....we reached around 9.30 PM. Immediatel started the games after havind a glass of sprite ..chilled climate.....finished badminton ...and tried the tennis ....serving was easier but the returns are too difficult ....realized that we should appreciate the tennis players ...the big court to run around ....next is to visit the event management and have snaks ....lunch immediately after ...! the inevitable ! few foto sessions in between ....the fun filled water slides after that ..just in water for 3 hrs...once in one plane slide i got stopped but chandy didnt hit me hard danger was avoided ,.....then went to the Lazy river ...just sleep in the air bag, river is lazy as the name suggests ...just float and relax..with this we finished the water games ...time for the HIGH TEA....veg roll and snacks ...I was searching for the "cotton candy" which is mentioned in the list of items mentioned by HR...it was nothing but "panji muttai" as specified by us in school ...I had one quickly ....then we noticed that remake of movie Shivaji in kannada is going on ....one hindi villian and some other guys were performing ..its difficult to act. villians were looking nice in shiny cloths.
Bowling is next ...first time for me ...too heavy ball. But I could manage it well. snooker table was not occupied with balls ..hence quit....

Relaxed for half an hr in the beach view benches facing the pool ....got a call for the bus....runshed into the bus....no seats ....But the front box just near to driver was available....njoying the front view ...best seat ever you can get ..by 715 we finished the trips.

End of one more day .....As the time pass by events are written in memory, I realize moments already passed by cannot be recovered .....!

Powered by ScribeFire.

Aneesh Dhananjayanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07205345381745579109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16130751.post-16939730535275271102008-01-23T21:56:00.001+05:302008-01-23T22:19:25.469+05:30FAQs asked when IT guys meet
When you meet your classmates or friends who all are working in IT you can observe the similarity of questions being asked or exchanged, i just observed it for a long time, most of the cases its the same always...

I thought of recording answers to all these questions and play it when they ask ,.....

FAQs :

Hows your job? Suggestions followed, "XYZ company" is "cutting the edge" with opportunity of ("lots of" ) great work at different destinations. (jwaliikal illengilum cash krithyamayi kittiyaal mathi) Behind the screen: "referral bonus" is a best of getting more money rather than wasting money and time share markets.

When did you come back from US? Only two days it took to finalize the things....(Thanks to Indian tax rules)
Model: Compaq pesarioc740tu
Price: 39970/-
Locaion: Bangalore

Spec: Intel Core 2 duo T5450 64Bit 1.6G
1GB RAM
15.4"Display
Intel Mobile 965GM chipset; Included IMA3100
DVD RW

Some observations regarding the Laptop

there is a difference of Rs 4000 between the T2330 a 32 bit processor and 64bit processor; It generally depends on

the usage. If you use 64bit or not. I got a 64bit based since its the latest trend. when the technology changes tomorrow everything may come with 64bit softwares....(just following the fastpace of changing world )! you should not regret if something is not running on your pc...(basic philosophy : worry abt the unknown future)

Compaq seems to be the cost effective model. HP seems to be nice laptop, but for same features price is lesser in

compaq. Accer is the chepest, lookwise its not appealing.Apple mac is not reachable with the price budget and

feature requirements am having.Service is better for HP and Compaq in bangalore, compared to others.

Webcam is an addon in most of the laptops....Some cases bluetooth is built-in. I got a separate usb adaptor for

bluetooth as its not built in which seemed to have no drivers available for vista...!

Few other observations so far.

vista has a separate new partition tool, which has cannot move unmovable files. hence sometimes a huge volume may

be captured by C drive. Third party tools may be required for this.

Most of the general softwares seems to have compatibility with vista.

Recovery drive takes almost 10G, a way of getting out of this as my fried suggested is to get an additional

installation CD, back up data and format the recovery disk...(Yet to try).

Gives much of sound when DVD is played in the DVD drive if CD no issues.

Speakers are not good as DELL laptops...but ok.

Powered by ScribeFire.

Aneesh Dhananjayanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07205345381745579109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16130751.post-80874069454887733532007-12-09T14:33:00.000+05:302008-01-13T16:41:16.488+05:30POST MODERNISM: a created confusion

This image is sourced from www.art-for-a-change.com/blog/images/jan07/irving_norman

Many people believe that creating confusing things are always great. I doubt the word post modernism falls in this category. People creates unknown sounds, colours, or letters in a cacofonic manner and call it a modern art or fusion. In many cases this gives out a simple feeling of unskillness. People who want to think they are something or those who want to be thought as something generally generates a pile of such things.

Art which is a form entertainment always urged for the skill and patience. Skill set is generally acheieved through years of experiance and expertise. But when the post modern thinks comes into picture people are not clear about the form of art presented infront of them. Many cases the audiance is guided and told about what to enjoy. Take an e.g of a modern art, many cases the artist should be present to explain about the facts described in the picture without which audiance is helpless, unlike a Ravivarma picture which describes the details within it.

Always told that P.M is a creation of the new generation. The fast pace of life confused the new generation always. This state of mind is not predictable. Probably you can say wild, anxious, fearful and unconscious state of mind created the effects of Post modernism. In many poems which is called 'modern' we can observe words are stitched together without any poetic beauty. Reader is dragged into many incidents happening around.

Tail Piece : Always things are appreciated among similar minds

Aneesh Dhananjayanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07205345381745579109noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16130751.post-33766138541270529662007-12-04T22:20:00.001+05:302008-01-13T16:39:30.426+05:30New dimensions:

the corporate work always creates few kinds of pressure on the employees. One is the fear of job.Question is whether the job exists or not after few hours. Next is the fear of continuous performance, you are always monitored by the wings of the corporate as somebody are told to monitor you at a close distance. The law of ethical and non-ethical things confuse you again. Even the laws are created by the so called social beings many times it points to a doubt of whether these are made for practical things. As the limit of time and quality of work are mutually linked, many a times people do not seem to believe it together. As the money poured on you is seamless and future is almost unknown you are driven to an confused and perplexed world. Also when the jargons are not known to you poor guys believe the more to captured. Time and tides are not waiting for you, you can either see the tide or or can swim with the tide.

Now at this world of confusion its always our job to define the dimensions. It can be the 11 or 26 dimensions as floated by the string theory. For the people to exist in the era of growing power money and space forced creation of the multidimensional space is not a wonder. As the nature always supports the universal existence of energy, dimensions in different domains always unifies to a single space.
Aneesh always call me from the main road itself ,,,,,,,a nice window ,,,

window 4: VS, CTOP Kharagpur
its the window of Room No C301...far away i can see the tower of the institute...in the night it lights up which reminds me about beacon...mild breeze was alway present through it when the heavy wind was not present through out the year....mornings are always fine with the sunrise through the mist .....sunrise is around 4-5 am in the morning as i remember ,....when you look down its the road and the lonely benches of the hotel ,,,
you can always see the busy new joiners flying in newly bought cycle ,,if u turn the angle to around 120' degree more its the ground of VS..where throughout the year green is spread just before the Vesuvius (our fest) grass cutters are busy with their work...you can sometimes see fight between the campus couples also ,,,,or you can enjoy the shattered rain during monsoon ,,,,if it is open .....heart was misty and melancholy when i looked through.....

window 5: home@Bangalore

its only few meters the big wall created by the next building ...its an old grayish wall .....above that its a terrace where people rarely appears with some peculiar expressions ..or with a mobile ....in olden days terrace was used to enjoy the beauty of sky ,,,,when is not used then for some house hold activities...Now in the modern world things are different ,,,terrace is for making the world of mobility ..people walk all through with ears listening to the voice from far end ....never i saw pupils playing anything .....Once or twice couples took some fotos with a very bad background of multi storied buildings...

window 6 home@Bangalore

its a nice window facing the a coconut tree ,,,,,and also far behind that its a ladies hostel .....
the tree stands up above the window ,,,,,it was a beautiful scene to watch the sky with clouds in the background...but now the money hungry monsters made a building in between..tree is not in the frame ,,,now ,,,,only unpainted walls peeping out with an ugly face...

Window 7@my office:

I could not see any thing from this window as there is no concept of window in my office....glass covered building ...cant open it panes ...even nobdy is interested in looking through the windows ....
Aneesh
